Director, Licensed Conveyancer and Head of Conveyancing
Sherrie Powell joined Davis & Co in June 2019 and has never looked back. Prior to joining Davis & Co, she was a Licensed Conveyancer for a medium sized firm of solicitors in Nottingham where she had worked for 14 years having been trained by a senior partner.
Sherrie has expertise in all types of property transactions including freehold and leasehold purchases, transfers of part, transfers of equity, matrimonial transfers, re- mortgages, auction sales and purchases and buy to let properties.
She provides a truly professional, personal service to clients from start to finish and aims to eliminate the stress that moving home often brings by providing expert legal advice in a down to earth and simple way. No two clients are the same and Sherrie prides herself on her ability to communicate with a wide range of clientele and cater to their individual needs.
The case management system which the firm has in place streamlines the conveyancing process enabling Sherrie to provide the best possible service to her clients.
In addition to her day to day duties, Sherrie is also head of our Administration Team and oversees the junior members of staff ensuring all the behind the scenes tasks are dealt with in a timely manner. She is passionate in ensuring the growth and development of the junior staff members and is always on hand if they ever need advice or just a chat.

- Grumpy people
- Firm’s who say “the letter is on dictation and will be sent shortly”. Why oh why in the year 2022 are some firms still using dictation and typewriters?!
